Avani Hotels & Resorts, the upscale lifestyle brand of Minor Hotels, has expanded its presence in Europe with the opening of the 163-room Avani Museum Quarter hotel in Amsterdam’s Museum District.
Targeting the business and leisure markets, the canalside hotel blends old-world and 1960s design elements, including glass facades, geometric patterns and colour blocking.
Accommodation is spread over seven floors, with some rooms offering panoramic views. Facilities include an AvaniFit gym, lobby lounge, Pantry for grab-and-go dining and an outdoor terrace overlooking the interior courtyard.
Taking advantage of its location close to the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk Museum, the hotel offers street art tours.
Opening rates start at $211 per room per night (double occupancy), including breakfast.
