Part of the magic has always been Disney Cruise Line It’s fantastic for families with young children. The Kids Club is truly unbeatable, and the family-friendly atmosphere is always fun. However, rumor has it that Disney Treasure will have some incredible adult-only spaces in addition to the usual kid-friendly spaces. We can’t wait to learn more about this ship in the coming months!

We’ve been on many cruises, but Disney’s Treasure is going to be a magical experience like no other. Here’s what we know so far, and stay tuned for updates as the first sailing date gets closer!
Brief information about Disney Treasures
- First flight: It is planned to take place on December 21, 2024, for a grand presentation of this fascinating ship.
- cabin: The ship will have more than 1,000 staterooms designed with families in mind. The new rooms will feature gorgeous modern styling and artwork inspired by Disney films. Get more details on the gorgeous design elements here.
- 11 fun decks: The Treasure will feature Broadway style shows, fireworks at sea, first run movies, kids club space, lounges, an incredible pool and more!
- Go Eat: Dining at rotating themed restaurants, including the newly added restaurant, Plaza de Coco and the “Guardians of the Galaxy” dinner show.
- Who will be at the helm?: Captain Hook and Peter Pan are the characters at the stern of the Treasure!

Disney’s Treasure will depart from Port Canaveral, Florida, offering 7-night cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean. Ports of call include:
- Eastern Caribbean: Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Disney’s private island Castaway Cay.
- Western Caribbean: Cozumel Island, George Town on Grand Cayman Island, Falmouth in Jamaica, and Disney’s private island Castaway Cay.
Waterparks and pools
Families will love the themed water attractions, including the epic water coaster AquaMouse: Curse of the Golden Egg, Mickey’s Pool and Nemo’s Reef Splash Zone for the little ones. There will be more than 10 pools!

Disney Treasure’s three restaurants offer delicious, unique cuisine:
- Coco Square: This colorful restaurant will be themed after the Disney and Pixar film Coco. A small town mariachi band will sing and dance to help you enjoy your meal!
- Amazing World: On Treasure Cruises, you will enjoy 2 Hero Dinners. One night you will dine with Spider-Man and Marvel Heroes, and one night you will dine with Groot and the Guardians of the Galaxy.
- 1923: This restaurant celebrates Disney’s legacy and Old Hollywood.
For a quick bite, Disney Treasure offers several casual dining options:
- Marcellin Market: An all-inclusive market offering classic favorites, international specialties, and plant-based breakfast and lunch options.
- Jumbeaux Candies:Inspired by Animal Utopiaa shop that offers ice cream, gelato, specialty snacks and candy. You know we were about to have them make the biggest ice cream cone ever…one of our family’s infamous cruise traditions!
- Emerald Cricket Cafe:Inspired by Hua Mulanproviding coffee, tea and snacks
- Black Coffee Shop: A MoanaThemed cafe offering coffee, tea and snacks

From character parades and deck parties to immersive shows at the Walt Disney Theatre, there’s always something exciting happening on board. The ship’s entertainment lineup includes Disney Cruise Line’s hit shows Beauty and the Beast, Disney’s Adventures of the Seas and Disney’s Moana: The Story of the Sea.
The Kids Club will be more exciting than ever, and the Marvel Super Hero Academy and Storybook Hall will be filled with fun activities and interactive experiences.
The ship will be the first to feature the “Haunted Parlor” — an adult-only high-altitude resort — and the “Captains’ Guild,” a Jungle Cruise-style lounge.
