Peru, and Machu Picchu in particular, has always been a place I wanted to visit the most, and I couldn’t express how excited I was to finally embark on this adventure this week! If you’ve dreamed of traveling to this fascinating South American gem, let me share some insights to inspire your journey.

Peru is an amazingly diverse country, with a variety of landscapes and climates that offer countless experiences to visitors. While the US is enjoying warm summers, keep in mind that Peru is experiencing winter. So, I would be sure to pack cozy gloves, earmuffs, and scarves to stay warm in the chilly weather!
