Royal Caribbean Cruises has announced that Meghan Trainor will serve as godmother to its newest ship, Utopia of the Seas.
Utopia of the Seas will be christened during a three-night preview cruise departing from Port Canaveral on July 15, 2024.
Trainor will perform an exclusive live show at the AquaTheater on the day the ship arrives at CocoCay during the cruise.
Royal Caribbean is offering fans the chance to celebrate with the cruise line and offering 52 fans a free cruise.
They can enter a drawing to win a three-night preview cruise. The official rules for the drawing are located at Royal Caribbean’s Instagram channel.
Meghan Trainor released the following statement regarding her role as godmother of Ocean Utopia:
“It’s an honor to join the Royal Caribbean family as the godmother of Utopia of the Seas and set the tone for the upcoming parties. The best part is that we can bring the energy of the weekend to the stage with our families and fans. What’s better than spending the holiday with the ones you love and dancing to your favorite music? Let’s make memories and get the party started!”
Utopia of the Seas will sail on her first voyage on July 19, 2024. The three-night cruise will visit Nassau and CocoCay.
For at least the next two years, the ship will sail three- to four-night cruises from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas.
